She walks in as I'm walking out
Should I try this once again? Should I try this once again?

And as we kiss I remember how it felt
To fall in love when I was young
But I can't get that feeling back

She's got a killers grin on
Or maybe I'm just too jaded now
My god the killer is waiting

Don't say you care I know you don't
And I won't leave ill try and pretend
And I won't leave ill try and pretend

Cause we've got nothing to lose
But time so here we go again

I know you've been patient
But I can't stop from thinking
That when this ends
We'll be the worst of enemies

And now, and as she leaves
I remember times we shared
Can we try this once again?
Cause baby you're just what I need

And as the night grows cold
Well hold me tight, don't let me go

We got it all wrong but baby we'll figure it out
As you say that you care, I know you don't

And I won't leave ill try and pretend
And I won't leave ill try and pretend

Cause we've got nothing to lose
But time so here we go again

Dry your eyes, and come home
I feel so alone, and I do know

This is done now, but we will try until the bitter end

But we never made it
Like a bad dream I can't get out
And I can't take another second without you here
We tried time and over as it died
Maybe I'm the one to blame here
Girl just know I love you too
Now we're done so here we go again

I know that I was wrong

this song is a little deeper than most of them, i think i think he likes his ex again, and she liked him again at some point, but at different times, and now its not working out, but there's nothing really anybody can do... oh and i apologize for some of the lyrics being not there or incorrect, there were a few words i couldn't quite understand what he said when i was listening to it.

Corrections: at the start, its not "should i try this once again, should i try this once again?" Its "should i say this once again, should i say this once again" "She doubts the killers gone now" is what i hear for "She tried to killers ?" and for "I got a killers waiting" i heard "i doubt the killers waiting" Instead of it saying preachin im pretty sure he's saying patient. Nice job all around though its a great song

I'm prob wrong but I'm throwing a possible meaning to it. Some songs that refer to Anna really are just personifying Anorexia Nervosa. It might just be about anorexia. What do the rest of you think?

This song is definitely different from their others. I was wondering if Chris even wrote the lyrics to it? It doesn't seem like his style. I do love the song though, it's a bit deeper, well as deep as The Medic Droid can actually be, than their other songs. They have generally written songs that are catchy and fun to dance to, this was one still has those qualities but the lyrics are a bit deeper and not just about sex.

i agree with -Niinja that this isnt usually the medic droids style where they usually sing about parties and girls but it does remind me of their other song called its about love. and both are really good songs from them. cant wait to hear the full version of this song.

Guys, stop reading so much into this shit. This song is about my best friend Anna. I'm not even joking. Her and Chris were on and off for almost a year. And he thought she was cheating and broke up with her and got with this girl Nicole instead. Anna lives in NY, he lives in AZ, so it was hard for them. But they did it. Even though he was still going out with Nicole he recently spent a week in NY at her house. And if you don't believe me, you can check out Chris's personal myspace. which is 2nd on my friend Anna's top [I'm first, bwahahaha >:D] but anyway the link is. myspace.com/… it really is a sad story. I can't tell you how many nights I've had to hold my best friend crying. He thinks she doesn't care. She loves him with all of her heart

Sunglasses at Night
Corey Hart
In the 1980s, sunglasses were a common fashion for people who wanted to adopt a "tough guy" persona (note all the cop shows from that era -- Simon & Simon, Miami Vice, etc. -- where the lead characters wore shades). So I think this song is about a guy who wears shades as a way of hiding his insecurity after learning that his girlfriend is cheating on him. He's trying to pretend that he's a "tough guy" to hide the fact that his girlfriend's affair is disturbing him.

Shudder to Think
This song is timeless, and nearly 20 years after its creation, still possesses the mystique it did the first time i heard it ~1994. To me, at first blush, all those years ago, it had some kind of homo-erotic allure. The line "so that the others may do" tells of something which must be done for others to follow suit. It felt like like some kind of roxy-glam-pop invitation to sexual liberation. Upon further introspection I think the song may not have an intrinsic meaning, but simply represents a sort of "holding open the door" for people who otherwise might be affronted by this song/band's unusual style. I know, as a sort of armchair rock-historian, that there have been few bands so daring and so true to the sound that wanted to emerge from within, whether the creator wanted it or not. This band handled it with elegance and grace seldom, if ever, seen.

Blank Space
Taylor Swift
This song is Swift's response to the negative reputation the media has given her. "I can make the bad guys good for a weekend" - the bad guys are the paparazzi to Swift, but are good to the "player" since association with Swift immediately gives publicity. Any publicity is good publicity and Swift knows this. "You can tell me when it's over" - the tabloids rumor relationships are over before the couple announces it officially. With this song Swift is portraying the way she is portrayed by the media. It is a sarcastic jab at how she views herself and how her "ex-lovers" only wanted to be with her to increase their fame. I applaud the brilliance in writing about how you always write about relationships. It is expected so Swift is giving the media what they want and profiting off the attention.

Anti-Hero
Taylor Swift
I believe this is another amazingly on point and nuanced commentary on the insanity that follows emotionally abusive relationships. The abuser has no anxieties, no emotional pain, or salience/memory for that matter, so the survivor appears to be the crazy one, obsessed with the abuse and that buzzword that seems to ignite arguments about diagnosing people without a degree, etc. funny how you say the words domestic violence, abuse, abuse survivor and boom the subject changes. Anyways, I especially relate to her midnights becoming afternoons, complex PTSD often leads to this phenomenon, whether due to purposeful sleep deprivation by the abuser, or just hyper vigilance associated with the PTSD, along with the fear of facing people, especially your loved ones, who Never actually understand, even if they try, because all they see is you, on fire, screaming about the arsonist that no one ever sees, and who has been spreading lies about your alleged mental instability, deceptive personality, etc. the whole time. While the last thing survivors need is more blame, our society supports a narrative that blames the objectively innocent party because the blatantly guilty party has spent their entire lives fabricating a persona and we’re just being human, and human psychology is quite counterintuitive especially in the context of trauma. Look at Amber Heard. Vilified and not believed, regardless of what any abuse survivor could recognize as a fellow survivor instantly. But Johnny depp is a malignant narcissist, a man, and wealthy as all get out. It’s sick.
