Hide the Key, cause I'm coming over
Settle the score oh whoa
Don't forget how well I know you
Stop Asking
And Keep Dancing

[Verse 1]
You get a chance girl
You fall apart start talking with you hands girl
You'll have to start over over again oh whoa oh

Maybe I'll call up and call you out
Maybe next time you should turn around over over again oh whoa oh

And put, put, put, your heart where your mouth is
And put, put, put, your heart where your mouth is, now

Hide the Key, 'Cause I'm coming over
To settle the score oh whoa
Doo oh oh oh Doo oh oh oh
Stop Asking
Keep Dancing

[Verse 2]
Then I am blind girl (Then I'm Blind)
My eyes are always holding in your mind girl (holding in your mind)
You'll have to start over over again oh whoa oh
Maybe I'm the one who plays the game
Maybe I turn and make the same mistake over over again oh whoa oh oh

(And baby you should) and put, put, put, your heart where your mouth is
And put, put, put, your heart where your mouth is, now

[Chorus]
Hide the Key, cause I'm coming over
To settle the score oh whoa
Don't forget how well I know you
I'll take take, I'll take take you down
Doo oh oh oh Doo oh oh oh
Stop Asking
And Keep Dancing

Doo oh oh oh Doo oh oh oh
Stop Asking
And Keep Dancing

[Bridge]
I'm talking 'bout change
You really wanna see the way
But if you wanna see
Then you need to settle down
And were talking 'bout change
You really wanna see the way
But if you wanna see
Then you need to settle down down down down

[Chorus]

Doo oh oh oh Doo oh oh oh
Stop asking
And keep dancing

    Lyrics from the booklet:

Hide the key 'Cause I'm coming over To settle the score, whoa, whoa Don't forget how well I know you Stop asking and keep dancing

You don't stand a chance, girl You'll fall apart Stop talking with your hands, girl You'll have to start over, over again

Maybe I'll call him up and call you out Maybe next time you should turn around Over, over again

Put, put, put your heart Where your mouth is Put, put, put your heart Where your mouth is now

Hide the key 'Cause I'm coming over To settle the score, whoa, oh Stop asking and keep dancing

You think that I am blind, girl My eyes were always floating in your wine, girl You'll have to starve over, over again

Maybe I'm the one that plays the game Maybe I tend to make the same mistake Over, and over again

Baby, you should Put, put, put your heart Where your mouth is And put, put, put your heart Where your mouth is now

Hide the key 'Cause I'm coming over To settle the score, whoa, oh Don't forget how well I know you I'll take, take Take, take you down Stop asking and keep dancing Stop asking and keep dancing

I'm talking about change You really want to see the way But if you want to see Then you need to settle down

Hide the key 'Cause I'm coming over To settle the score, whoa, oh Don't forget how well I know you I'll take, take Take, take you down Stop asking and keep dancing Stop asking and keep dancing

I'm pretty sure this song is about how the girl messed with another guy and the guy singing wants to get back at her.

this song is catchy. i agree that its about Alex wanting to get back at the girl who, i'm guessing, broke his heart and cheated on him with another guy?

    Song Meaning

I think this song is about a girl cheating on her boyfriend (maybe next time i'll call him up and call you out), and he finds out by seeing them together a lot (maybe next time you should turn around). He's wants her to dump the other guy, but she can't really do it, even though she tells him she will (put your heart where your mouth is). He's annoyed (you need to settle down), and tries persuade her (don't forget how well i know you), but gets annoyed again when it doesn't work (i'll take you down). But in the end, he also admits that he didn't give her his all, either (maybe i'm the one who plays the game, maybe i tend to make the same mistake).

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
