The sounds of sirens are flooding the streets tonight
Yet we are all still willing to commit the crimes
Should we expect no consequence (No consequence)
Maybe our lies will pass the test (Will pass the test)

Eyes closed hands tied (Behind our backs we try)
To cover up (Our deepest secrets and lies
But we both know we are suspects to the crime
And running won't solve our problems this time)

Your hands are shaking as they're holding onto mine
A sense of hesitation is hidden in your eyes

I've seen a sketch in black and white (In black and white)
I've seen the face you try to hide (try to hide
Behind the doors under the sheets
But you are guilty just like me
And none of us are innocent
A cycle of Russian roulette)

Eyes closed hands tied (Behind our backs we try)
To cover up (Our deepest secrets and lies
But we both know we are suspects to the crime
And running won't solve our problems this time)

(Pull up a seat next to me and lets face the jury
Our only chance to come clean so what's it going to be?)

I've seen a sketch in black and white
I've seen the face you try to hide

Eyes closed hands tied (Behind our backs we try)
To cover up (Our deepest secrets and lies
But we both know we are suspects to the crime
And running won't solve our problems this time)

(I've seen a sketch in black and white
I've seen the face you try to hide
Behind the doors under the sheets
But you are guilty just like me
Should we expect no consequence
Maybe our lies will pass the test
And none of us are innocent
A cycle of Russian roulette)

CarolinaIsBreathing, Oh really? well, that's nice, dear.

Anywayyy....I think this is about two people who have committed a crime and are lying to try and get themselves off the hook. The sketch in black and white are the pictures that have drawn up of them and are on wanted signs and stuff.. Maybe I'm just thinking of it in the literal sense, maybe the meaning is deeper than this but this is all I can think of.

To me it seems to me as if it is about two people who are not suppose to be together. They lie to others about there relationship and who they really are, and only the other person can see the "true them"

I think its kind of a cross between what stagnate & justalittllost wrote. The 2 lovers aren't supposed to be together or they cheat or whatever, that's the "crime", and they both know each others secret. And what stagnate wrote, about the 'sketch in black & white' being the pictures of them I think is true, but its like a metaphor for them being able to see each other's bad side ('the face you try to hide').

to me this song reminds me of when i took this huge dump the other day, it was gross, beside the point i shaved my pubes today and unfortunately i farted in the process; this in turn startled me which resulted in me cutting my penis, it bled a lot but then i had my boyfriend suck the blood off of my sexual organ, we proceeded to have gay sex, i ejaculated on his butt.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
