"As a result of our inquiry, I went through the door. I passed a wolf and a bear."

Without is without in the nursery
Darkness is not dark in the nursery
Time is not time in the nursery
Sun becomes moon in the nursery
It's only hard at first in the nursery
No guilt, no retribution in the nursery

No fear, no retribution in the nursery
Dogs turn into wolves in the nursery

There are children [???], they live in the nursery
Where the sun shines in the nursery
Special powers invest the nursery
We protect our nursery

Our strength still lies in the nursery
There are no lies in this nursery
All time ends in the nursery

[???] will grow and meet you in the nursery
Our sanctuary is the nursery
We are all [captives?] in this nursery

We are the wolves' priests in the nursery

Boys become dogs in the nursery
Girls become frogs in the nursery

The bear is there in the nursery
I pledge my soul to the nursery
The doors are closed in the nursery
To protect our lives in the nursery

There is no time in the nursery
All time ends in the nursery
In the nursery (x3)
Play games in the nursery
[???] down in the nursery
[There is?] war in the nursery
Shielded from life in the nursery
No absolutions in the nursery
The world breathes no air in the nursery
There in the nursery (x3)

There is burning [ink?] in the nursery
Everything is neat in the nursery

Boys turn into frogs in the nursery
Girls turn into boys in the nursery
I am watching you in the nursery
[???] in the nursery
Everything is clear in the nursery
A darkness is here in the nursery

A trip into the heart of darkness, lyrically and musically. Perhaps the sonic interpretation of a horrible supernatural encounter, the point in the tale where things start to move at their own accord and the medium begins to speak in a low voice. Her possessed body slowly lifts itself off the floor and, staring with eyes ages old and full of malice, says...

"All time ends in the nursery."

One of the weirdest, eeriest songs ever.

Yea I've always placed this song next to Hamburger Lady as the ^^(weirdest, eeriest)most frightening songs ever made. I really can't say which one is more so, but Hamburger Lady has a bit more of a feel of the worst horror house imaginable.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
