Oh no, my heart is getting heavy,
Was I was forward?
I kinda had the feeling that it's over,
But know I know that I'm crazy (i think that I'm going nowhere)
So scream loud and look at me way down,
I know that you're afraid,
I'll hold you close and never, ever let you go

Up and down
You spin me around
You got everybody watchin' as you hit the ground
So take a step back
You know I'm there

Oh god can you save me now?
Enough Vallium to fill this room
It's kinda hard when I'm dead right?
It's kinda hard when I'm dead

Oh love you got me crazy feen'n
Like it's nothing that I could've wanted
Take it slowly and maybe you'll know I'm ready
We can get over it
Scenery is nothin' more than poetry
Hotter than two lovers cumming next to me
I know

Up and down
You spin me around
You got everybody watchin' as you hit the ground
So take a step back
You know I'm there

(You know) up and down
You spin me around
You got everybody watchin' as you hit the ground
So take a step back
You know I'm there
(Why are you leaving)
Please don't go
Stay with me
Come on breathe
You gotta find a way

You and I got our whole lives ahead of us
We turned you can we turn you on?

I hope heaven needs you more
More than I need you now
You know I love you

Actually I had a friend talk to the band and she asked about the lyrics. They said that this song was about Kyle's step-dad telling him he was going to end his own life. His dad was probably sad over a break up and it's Kyle saying that it was nothing and that they could move on.

I think it's about the risk that you have to take when you want to begin a relationship with someone. But, towards the end of the song, "Why Are You Leaving Please Don't Go Stay With Me Come On Breathe You Gotta Find A Way" and "I hope heaven needs you more than i need you now"

makes me think the person this song is about committed suicide or passed away or something...?

i absolutely love the beginning though

Actually, its about a boy and a girl that are inlove, inlust. They are around their friend taking drugs "valium." She must have OD'd and all their friend see her fall to the ground, and he panics and doesnt know what to do, he thinks he can keep her conscious, telling her to breathe long enough to get help, but shes fading away and doesnt want her to go, because he'd planned their future togetherbut he realizes she'll be in a better place.

    I could be wrong.

i think this song is about that they were doing drugs called "Vallium" and that she did it too much and she passed out that's why it says "everyone watches you as you hit the ground" and then he says "Why Are You Leaving Please Don't Go Stay With Me Come On Breathe You Gotta Find A Way" telling her to breath and find a way and live and everything. yeah i might be wrong, but that's what i think.

I agree about how hard and confusing it is to start a new relationship. Not sure about the death part though.

Oh no, my heart is getting heavy, was I was forward? I kinda had the feeling that it's over, but now I know that I'm crazy (I think that I'm going nowhere) --He tries to tell the girl he likes her or flirts with her or something, and he gets scared thinking he ruined it.. But then she returns the feelings so he knows he was crazy thinking he ruined it. But he's not sure if he's getting anywhere with her.

So scream loud and look at me way down, I know that you're afraid, I'll hold you close and never, ever let you go --it's scary beginning a new relationship, but he's going to be there for her.

(Chorus) Up and Down you spin me around you got everybody watchin as you hit the ground so take a step back you know i'm there --the feelings he's experiencing because of her, the ups and the downs, spinning around in confusion. She's probably telling all her friends how scared she is and stuff, but he's saying take a step back from the confusion and drama, he's there for her.

Oh God can you save me now? Enough Vallium to fill this room it's kinda hard when I'm dead right? it's kinda hard when I'm dead... --maybe she broke up with him or is being distant and he feels heartbroken, dead, taking Valium to feel better.

Oh love you got me crazy feen'n like it's nothing that i could've wanted take it slowly and maybe you'll know i'm ready. -- love is amazing but it can make you feel like shit, so he's wondering why he wanted it.

We can get over it scenery is nothin more than poetry hotter than two lovers cumming next to me i know -- not sure but his laugh is cute after the cumming thing. (Chorus)

Why Are You Leaving Please Don't Go Stay With Me Come On Breathe You Gotta Find A Way --she's being distant or breaking up with him, maybe they're not supposed to be together. He's begging her not to go and to find a way that they can be together.

You and I got our whole lives ahead of us. We turned you- Can We turn you on?

I hope heaven needs you more than i need you now you know i love you (i can't believe it's you) -- i see the death part now, but it doesn't have to be literally heaven. He's saying her loves her.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
