The higher you build your barriers, the taller I become
The farther you take my rights away, the faster I will run
You can deny me, you can decide to turn your face away
No matter 'cause there's

Something inside so strong
I know that I can make it
Though you're doin' me wrong, so wrong
You thought that my pride was gone, oh no
There's something inside so strong
Something inside so strong

The more you refuse to hear my voice, the louder I will sing
You hide behind walls of Jericho, your lies will come tumbling
Deny my place and time, you squander wealth that's mine
My light will shine so brightly it will blind you
Because there's

Something inside so strong
I know that I can make it
Though you're doin' me wrong, so wrong
You thought that my pride was gone, oh no
There's something inside so strong
Something inside so strong

Brothers and sisters, when they insist we're just not good enough
Well, we know better, just look 'em in the eyes and say
"we're gonna do it anyway, we're gonna do it anyway
We're gonna do it anyway"

Something inside so strong
I know that I can make it
Though you're doin' me wrong, so wrong
You thought that my pride was gone, oh no
There's something inside so strong
There's something inside so strong
There's something inside so strong

Something inside so strong
I know that I can make it
Though you're doing me wrong, so wrong
...

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
