Dig yourself a shallow grave
Your life is not the legacy of honor you would dig six feet for
Broken is the way you came
And broken is the way that you will leave when everything is paid for
Make another hollow claim
A fable of regurgitated nothing we could tear wide open
False in every possible way
Your god is still the powerless creation you will lose your hope in

Now you bleed for the lord of hate that you stole from the pages of truth
And separate the product from its own account, to birth a gospel of inferior view

Black reign is all in dream
Your truth is absolution?s end

[Chorus x 2]
Dead is the way you stake your life on
The oblivious belief
What a waste to sell your spirit for

Lay upon the bed you made
Your word is not the legacy of truth that you would bet your life on
Stand to face a mirrored blade
And tremble in the wake of your conviction as you put your life on

Now you bleed for the lord of hate that you stole from the pages of truth
And separate the product from its own account, to birth a gospel of inferior view

Black reign is all in dream
Your truth is absolution?s end

[Chorus x 2]

This war is a page unwritten, but we know how it ends
Take a step to the throne, convicted
Choking back your amends

Cry the death of fiction kingdom
Your truth is absolution?s end

[Chorus x 2]

This song is about the Satanic Church. it personally addresses them "Now you bleed for the lord of hate, which you stole from the pages of truth" now in the Bible God and many other people called Satan the Lord of Hate. and what are the Pages of Truth ladies and germs? none other than the Bible of course. now the part where he says "dig yourself a shallow grave, your life is not the legacy of honor you would dig 6 feet for" ok. I can see why people get confused on this part but look into it a little bit. everything the Satanic Church does they think it is honorable to Satan. thats it nothing more. nothing about Islam, Muslims, definately not Mormons, or any other religion. it directly address the Kingdom of Darkness. now my favorite lines

"Dead is the way you stake your life on The oblivious belief What a waste to sell your spirit for"- ahhh the chorus. telling all Satan worshipers that their is no life or hope in their false belief. telling them that their wasting their spirit for absolutely nothing.

"This war is a page unwritten, but we know how it ends Take a step to the throne, convicted Choking back your amends"- ahem. onto my next favorite line. this is a bout the Day of Judgement. talking about when the convicted (Satanists) approach the Throne of Christ. how they'll be wishing they never said any of those things. and the first line sasys although it doesn't ention anything we know that Satan and his minions have already lost this war.

and if you have any questions. feel free to let me know.

oh and one little thing. the part where it says "And separate the product from its own account, to birth a gospel of inferior view" is talking how the Satanic Church tries to twist around our version of Satan to make hime holy and all that. but we all as Christians standing in the faith of the Risen and Ascended Christ know that the Satanic Religion is inferior and that Christ is and always has been Victorious.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
