"Blue" as written by and Serj Tankian....
Maybe we believe
She was ready to go
In the morning light
Maybe you believe
That she was made of gold
In the east where you killed her
You lead us
When you need to feed us
You comfortably delete us
When you need your fetus,

You cheat us when you feed us with the lie,
Stars look out and,
Cheat us when you feed us with the lie,
Stars look out,

Goodbye, goodbye,

She speaks unrehearsed
Languages from skin
In the morning light
Painting shadows on the
Faces of the dead
In front of their widows,

You cheat us when you feed us with the lie,
Stars look out and,
Cheat us when you feed us with the lie,
Before its too late,

Do you know that life is ending,
As we go, the dots connecting,
We had our chance to save the garden,
As it dies, our souls will harden,
With these words chastising your conscience
Were breaking through and praying for
Transcendence.

But you deceived us all now,

You cheat us when you feed us with the lie,
Stars look out and,
Cheat us when you feed us with the lie,
Stars look out,
Cheat us when you feed us with the lie,
Stars look out and,
Cheat us when you feed us with the lie,
Stars look out.

General Commentthis is a studio version of an older demo done by System of a Down, i love this version better. It's basically about him questioning god because there is so much misery in the world. The second part is him accepting god

General Comment"Graciously you move through my pores like..."

General CommentAfter listening to this, I think the System of a Down version is better, poor quality(at least the copy I have), but better.

Also I believe the lyrics are "my closed heart's artery" not "my pores like..."

General CommentThe song from Elect the Dead says
"wishin' and wishin' away at you girl"
    instead of "god"
    I'm pretty sure it does.
The SOAD version is the one that says "god"
    Anyways,
    Love song.

General CommentEKS MUSIK, I think you're right about Serj not singing "God." I just watched a youtube video of an old performance of this by SOAD, and he definitely was singing "God" then, and it sounds much different now. I don't understand the song now if he sings "Girl" though, not singing "God" seems to completely change the meaning.

Here's the SOAD video from 1997 if you're interested:
