Ice Water Coalition
Cash, money, girls, & girls yeah
Cash, money, girls, & girls yeah
Cash, money, girls, & girls yeah
Cash, money, girls, & girls yeah
Cash, treasure
Savage times savage measures
Good drink in my hand
That is my choice of beverage
Man you know that I'm cold
I could be a type of weather
Man it's Porter T. Flinn
& the T stand for better
Man you know that I ball
T could stand for tether
Man you know that I pull
T could stand for lever
Pain, pleasure
Cut it, sever
I'm a G
Like a letter
I'm what up
You're whatever
I ain't getting to the paper? Never (nah that's crazy)
I'm lit
Like a
Feather (wait what?)
Oh cause them things be light
I be getting paper all day
& I stay icy all night
I pulled 4 girlfriends in a row
Black, yellow, brown, & white
Now that's diversity
& I know they see the worst in me
But I just got my doctorate
From Ice Water University
I'm cold, I'm cold, I'm cold
Certified, get it, go let it fly
Gotta go, let it ride
I done came down from the Greedy
Rapping stuff here is too easy
GBC Porter Teezy
Fosheezy my neezy
I'm flippin' & dippin'
& dippin' & flippin'
I'm double cupped up & you know that I'm sippin'
These rhymes that I'm spittin'
These rhymes that I'm kickin'
These rhymes that I'm kickin' they hitting' & stickin'
Cash, money, girls, & girls yeah
Cash, money, girls, & girls yeah
Cash, money, girls, & girls yeah
Cash, money, girls, & girls yeah
Let's be for real
What else you really need in life?
You know I'm living large I got a mistress & a wife
If you ain't chasin' paper homie you ain't living right
If you ain't chasin' paper homie you ain't living life
Young man Porter T
Clean name, dirty game
That I'm playin', that I'm livin'
But I'm chillin' like a villain
Double cup, never spillin'
Hell you mean, I stay steady
No SpongeBob, I stay ready
I'm livin' like Larry
No money, that's scary
Yo girl chose me man you ain't a pimp you's a
That's word to Pimp C
Pockets never empty
She said "Umm I usually don't do this"
But I bet she'll exempt me yuh
Cause my name Porter T yuh
& I'm from the Greedy G yuh
Yeah I'm from the Dirty Dirty
My squad ball so hard I think we need a thirty-thirty (What if I told you...)
My paper is so straight just like the hands at 12:30

Cash, money, girls, & girls yeah
Cash, money, girls, & girls yeah
Cash, money, girls, & girls yeah
Let's be for real
What else you really need in life?
You know I'm living large I got a mistress & a wife
If you ain't chasin' paper homie you ain't living right
If you ain't chasin' paper homie you ain't living life
Yeah yeah
Cash, cash, cash, cash

No Surprises
Radiohead
Same ideas expressed in Fitter, Happier are expressed in this song. We're told to strive for some sort of ideal life, which includes getting a good job, being kind to everyone, finding a partner, getting married, having a couple kids, living in a quiet neighborhood in a nice big house, etc. But in Fitter, Happier the narrator(?) realizes that it's incredibly robotic to live this life. People are being used by those in power "like a pig in a cage on antibiotics"--being pacified with things like new phones and cool gadgets and houses while being sucked dry. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. In the video, his helmet is slowly filling up with water, drowning him. But he's so complacent with it. This is a good summary of the song. This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers (not spiritual, but political, economic, etc. politicians and businessmen, perhaps) is not the way to live. But there is seemingly no way out but death. He'd rather die peacefully right now than live in this cage. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. that is going on in the world, often run by huge yet nearly invisible organizations, corporations, and 'leaders'. It's a very hopeless song because it reflects real life.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
