So here I am with my thoughts of you
And this world I've left for me
Stoic faces when I think of you
And how I once believed
So now you call me, but you know I won't let you through
I've myself to deceive

[Chorus]
So leave the memories alone
I don't want to see
The way it is, as to how it used to be
Leave the memories alone, don't change a thing
And I'll hold you here in my memory

So I find me in your garden now
A sad smile for the scene
And all the flowers that we planted now
Taken by the weeds
But in my minds eye, you know they still bloom for me
They stand tall there, in that summer breeze

[Chorus]

In my memory, yeah

[Chorus]

You'll never change
You'll never change
You'll never change
You will never change

I think the guy is in denial he thinks of the girl in a good way, even though she broke his heart, and she keeps trying to contact him and he is like leave me alone i wanna remember u in a good light not how you really are,

First off let me just say that I can't believe this song doesn't have more comments. It is a great song, and possibly one of my favorite songs.

Now on to its meaning. I believe that jrock is right, it is about a person who is trying to prevent from talking to an ex that he/she once loved and had their heart broken. It is a way of saying, "Please leave me be, because I want to know you for who you were and not what you have become and what has been done to me."

I really like this song. Like a lot.

I don't think it has to only be about ex's though it probably is but...

I think the guy is talking about a something in the past that was good but suddenly something bad happened and he doesnt want to remember the bad thing, he only wants to remember the good times and someone's trying to talk to him about the bad times....I'm probably wrong, but whatever.

its a beautiful song my meanings to this song are.

a friend is saying to his best friend that no matter how bad past we had now we are going to make a new start so its time for us to forget the past leave the memories of past and telling him that we will always be present in eachothers memories. this line So I find me in your garden now really touches my heart.. as i far as i concern it means that now i find myself in the garden of ur luv.

guyz dont mind but i think the vocalist of FUEL lil bit sounds like DALLAS SMITH ( Vocalist OF DEFAULT)

I think its about the original singer who left the band after they had a fallen out. They might have hung out in his garden and planted flowers?

Brill song. Great choice by WWE for Ric Flairs retirement. This song sends shivers down my spine.

    Awesome

What it means to me is that someone has lost someone, either a best friend, family member or a lover to a break up or an illness/death. They don't want to remember the horrible thing that parted them, they want to forget that, they just want to remember the good times when they were both happy and that person will always be in their memory, which is said in the line, "I'll hold you in my memory."

    A truly beautiful song!

Yeap its a break up song... The girl is prolly getting back with the guy.. But he sings this song.. He doesnt want the already broken relationship to break some more.. He cuts his losses and forgets the girl... but in his mind he'll never forget what they've been through... hence "I'll just hold you here in my memory"

Love this song. To me, it's about a relationship, and how it ended badly. The guy is saying he'll always remember the girl in a good way, with the good memories. He won't think of how it is right now. So he wants her to just leave the memories alone, because maybe he feels if they start again, those memories will be ruined. That's why he says she'll never change.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
