( Verse 1 )

Makin out in your car,
With the windows fogged
With some love song playin out on the radio

Makin out by your door
Late June early morn
Stomachs filled full from a night we spent drinkin all night long

Makin out in the clouds
She hangs above me ,Smilin down
Like the sunrise I can see comin up in the corner of my eye

Snowflakes driftin through street lights
Disappear into the night
Head lights turn to tail lights
Blendin in like shadows in the nights

( Pre-chorus )

Everything, its in what you make
Coz situations change, and loves fade away
But you and me, things work differently
Coz there is what they see, then there’s what’s beneath

So hold on tight, and don’t let go
On a summer night, or in winter snow
Through letters we write, or on the phone
From the highs of highs to the lows of lows

Or when were layin in your bed
With my head restin upon your chest
Or in pictures on my wall
Or in dreams at night, your in them all
I’m trying to say, now that you are next to me

( Chorus )

Loving you would be like paradise ( but twice as nice)
Anything less would be like a sacrifice
Loving you would be like paradise

( Verse 2 )

talkin late, night on the phone
come on by, Iˆm home alone
I know it’s snowin out
But baby I will make the long walk worth your while

Layin on the roof of my car
summer night, underneath the stars
skies like these
show us just how small you know we actually really are

fall asleep, next to me
dreams become reality
slip and slide on by like the sun
goes right down the sky saying goodnight

a summer breeze, snow covered trees
a pair of foot prints, on the beach
paradise for me is you
from bitter December , to late nights in June

( Pre-Chorus )

coz Everything, its in what you make
Coz situations change, and loves fade away
But you and me, things work differently
Coz there is what they see, then there’s what’s beneath

So hold on tight, and don’t let it go
On a summer night, or in winter snow
Through letters we write, or on the phone
From the highs of highs to the lows of lows

Or when were layin in your bed
With my head restin upon your chest
Or in the pictures on my wall
Or in dreams at night, your in them all
What I’m tryin to say is, now that you are next to me
Lovin you , loving you, lovin you would be like paradise

( Bridge )

Kissin you, then missin you
All I do is think of you and me
And how we go together perfectly
Yeah I believe I’m lucky to have found someone like
you
Your everything I’ve waited for

So come on say the words, they will be returned
Coz There’s nothing that I want more for you to come
And walk right through the door
And say the words I know you’ve said before
Through summer rains our love remains
In Love is what we’ll always be

( Chorus )

Loving you is would be like paradise ( but twice as nice)
Anything less would seem like a sacrifice
Loving you would be like paradise

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
