Q&A
Crack My Heart Lyrics
Will you be my darling?
I have become the cold floor lately
Without much, I'll lay and wait
And I'm a white car in the wake
Of your endless mourning
So tell me who's afraid of change
Yeah, they will tell you we're the same
But you know I treat you different
You're my pretty, pretty princess
Girl, you know it
Now that I'm gone
Scream your loudest
If he's in your basement
If he's touching your skin
I'll kill him
Hemorrhage to his head
Said I'd paint this whole town red
Crack my heart and spill it
Were you crying baby?
Were you surprised to find me waiting?
Cause I had half the nerve to leave
And then I lost the will to breathe
Now I'm choking on this
I'm choking, look at me
Now that I'm gone
Scream your loudest
If he's in your basement
If he's touching your skin
I'll kill him
Hemorrhage to his head
Said I'd paint this whole town red
Crack my heart and spill it
And spilled it
And spilled it
And spilled it
Oh, can we
Take a second, please
To breathe
Oh, can we
Take a second, please
To breathe
Scream your loudest
If he's in your basement
If he's touching your skin
I'll kill him
Hemorrhage to his head
Said I'd paint this whole town red
Crack my heart and spill it
Scream your loudest
If he's in your basement
If he's touching your skin
I'll kill him
I have become the cold floor lately
Without much, I'll lay and wait
Of your endless mourning
So tell me who's afraid of change
But you know I treat you different

hemorrhage?? i think its "held my brush to his head"
yeah i thought it sounded like held my brush to his head. umm i had trouble making sense of this song when i thought it was one speaker, so i thought maybe there were two. it makes more sense-- one guy is in her basement on the cold floor waiting for her (the verses), and another guy is gone who realizes that there is someone who is following/waiting for her, and he wants to protect her (the chorus). but something happened to the guy she was with that causes him not to be there [at the moment?], and so the other guy is waiting for her to notice him because he wants to treat her right. like a fight between the two for the girl. i dont know, thats just a shot in the dark because i havent listened to it that much. but what would mourning signify??
oh and i like their music... but why are their lyrics so demented??
no i think it's hemorrhage... it does sound like held a brush to his head... but that doesn't make any sense.. and hemorrhage does.. so ya.. i guess. lol
and i think this song is about a girl who was in a really abusive relationship.. and she's out of it now. and a guy (the singer's point of view) really wants to be with her, but she's scared that she might be falling into the same type of abusive relationship, so she's not letting him in.
great song!
no... it is held my brush to his head. it makes sense because right after that he says "Said i'd paint this whole town red."
dude it's hemorrhage. on account of hemorrhaging is bleeding . . . and blood is red . . . so he would paint the whole town red. why would he hit him with a brush? 'oh how convenient that i have this brush in my hand to hit this man with' do guys even use brushes???
okay completely ignore that last comment . . . he means a paintbrush.
i'm an idiot.
It is "held my brush to his head" The brush is singifying a gun. To scare him.
Dylan alex colby and even their merch guys brian and jordan are all some of my best friends.
So I promise you, its brush.
thank you, for all you dumbasses it's held my brush to his head.

Oh, and the songs meaning.
Its about a guy and girl obviously and they guy is leaving.
"Were you surprised to find me waiting, cause I had half the nerve to leave" Obvious he stayed.
The man in the basement is a sexually abusive father.
Hes saying that if her father abuses her again, to scream your loudest'
The brush is used to mimic a gun. To instill fear.
If you think about the words, listen to them, it all makes sense. hemorrhage would make no sense with the rest of the song.

He's saying that if he doesn't stops basically, he will kill him. Blows his brains out and 'paint this whole town red' Its simple people.
hemorrhage would make no sense with the rest of the song.
