Push Lyrics

TV's screwed again
And I'm already bored
In this age of goldfish conciousness and rock star gods
How do you react?
And do I blaspheme if I say:

I killed Kurt Cobain
I killed Kurt Cobain
I killed Kurt Cobain
I killed Kurt Cobain

You still wear the face
Of a guy you never knew
Where were all your fucking shirts when jobs on strike went down
I don't see them around anymore
And again, you're caring

I killed Kurt Cobain
I killed Kurt Cobain
I killed Kurt Cobain
I killed Kurt Cobain

And when I'm bored
I go fucking ape shit
I be up on the walls
And I fucking hate it

I hate it, I hate it
Oh, I hate it
I hate it
I'm going nowhere
Nowhere
Nowhere

it's not "when jobs on strike went down" it's "when dobs and strait went down" It's a reference to the singer of Snot Lynn Straid and his dog Dobbs who both died in a car accident. I think this song is about worshiping rockstars when they died,, because thats when they're in the news and that's when you say "Oh i'm so sad he died, iv'e always loved him!" And then moving on when someone else dies Pretty much what happened when Mitch Lucker died
