Can I wake you up
Can I wake you up
Is it late enough
Is it late enough
There's a story in which my eyes shut

Could you bag me up
Could you bag me up
Could you bag me up
Could you bag me up
Could you bag me up
Could you bag me up

There's a story in which my eyes shut
Is it late enough
Is it late enough
There's a story in which my eyes shut

Could you bag me up
Could you bag me up

Can I wake you up
Can I wake you up
Is it late
Is it late
Is it late
Is it late
Is it late
Late, late, late, late

Can I wake you up
Can I wake you up
Is it late enough
Is it late enough
There's a story in which my eyes shut

Could you bag me up
Could you bag me up

Can I wake you up
Can I wake you up
Is it late enough
Is it late enough
There's a story in which my eyes shut

Could you bag me up
Could you bag me up
Could you bag me up
Could you bag me up
Could you bag me up
Could you bag me up

One of my favorite BBC tracks just simply for the simplicity in the lyrics and cause i can relate to this song so much on a personal msg after meeting an amazing person and then completely loosing touch and then coming back to the start but it was never the same. Amazing song. Truly talented band.

one of my favourite BBC tunes too. The lines "We haven't spoken in so long, We can't get passed the how are you, We're not talking like we used to" is just so true of many of my old friends that i don't see much of no more! This band is both lyrically and musically outstanding in my opinion. great live at reading 07!

awesome live and awesome lyrics, don't you think its the band to continue the strokes and kings of leons old sounds? I'm glad for that.

Great simply song. So relatable to many. Why is this band so under appreciated?

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.
