Oh, and I'm feeling directionless, yes
But that's to be expected
And I know that best
And in creeps the morning
And another day's lost
You've just written, wondering
And I reply fast

All you need to save me
All you need to save me
Call (call)
And I'll be curled on the floor
Hiding out from it all (all)
And I won't take any other call

I feel like a fool
So I'm going to stop troubling you
Buried in my yard
A letter to send to you
And if I forget
Or God forbid, die too soon
Hope that you'll hear me
Know that I wrote to you

All you need to save me
All you need to save me
Is call (call)
And I'll be curled on the floor
Hiding out from it all (all)
And I won't take any other call

I think this song means that this girl cant be witih someone but she cant or she keeps it a secret

"and in creeps the morning and another day’s lost you’ve just written one dream and I reply fast"

she dreams about them and such

"I feel like a fool so I’m going to stop troubling you"

i think this means she kinda gives up, she used to bother the person like to trying to start a convo or something like that calling the person but she doesnt think its getting through to the person that she likes her so shes just gonna stop trying

I think the line is "you've just written wondering, and I reply fast"

but this song is fantastic. To the point in a clever way.

Probably my favorite on the album.

This is definitely my favorite song on the album. It's so, so, so beautiful, but it's way too short. I have to listen to it four times, haha.

It sounds to me like she daydreams all the time about the perfect moment this person will call to her and say all the words she wanna hear and it will be just perfect, but she knows deep down it won't happen so she just buries this dream of hers deep down in herself by the end of the song.

Amazing song, as usual by them!

I'm not sure what this song means but this song on the new album really stands out to me. It's very beautiful. Oh and I definitely agree with "ImpliedLove" It sounds like she sings that. It makes more sense.

Man this song is so incredibly strong. It stirs emotions inside of me, it's just great. I can relate to it so strongly. I feel like it's about wanting to reach out to someone....feeling short of stable yet not wanting to bother them. I hear that.

"Curled on the floor hiding out from it all". Oh i hear that.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
