as if theres nothing left to do
i look and i turn to you
but the same old problem
a completely different story
to be honest its getting kinda boring
just cant take it
wont try to fake it
but still i turn to you
GO

look around turn back
and try to answer me
is this how you wanted it to be
i know you cant even pretend
just see it out until the end

why do i even turn to you?
theres way more that i can do
i cant ignore it
but wont explore it
it seems that i just cant help it
can do without this
seems so selfish
but still i turn to you
SO

look around turn back
and try to answer me
is this how you wanted it to be
i know you cant even pretend
just see it out until the end

just cant hide it
getting annoyed with how
everything just keeps repeating
but still i turn to you

look around turn back
and try to answer me
is this how you wanted it to be
i know you cant even pretend
just see it out until the end

To me this song means That like a guy and a girl and the guy keeps feeling bad and he turns to the girl for help and advice and he wants to understand why he always turns to her and no one else!

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Page

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
