    General CommentIm a fan of Andre 3000 (not so much Outkast, but Andre is truly talented) and what i find really interesting is that in the original Andre says:

    "Y'all don't want me here you just wanna dance"

    Meaning that no one really cares about what he was trying to say in the song.... until Mat Weddle did this cover. I think reason this cover is so brilliant is because Andre 3000 is a genius. Great song.

    General CommentI LOVE THIS COVER. The way Mat sings these lyrics, it makes it sound like he wrote it, or it was written as a acoustic song. It really shows how Andre of Outkast is a really talented writer. Mat brings so much feeling to the lyrics.

    OutKast did great with this song but
    Obadiah Parker(Mat Weddle) definitely perfected the song
    I can't stop listening to it!
    two people stay together even though people say they shouldnt
    here are some songmeanings that i have gathered from other people
    and that were really useful for me to understand a lil more about the song

    nowadays theres no true love*, couples dont stay together forever,
    unlike back in the day. be like mom and dad and try to stick it through together!
    long relationships CAN happen!!!

    To me, it's about the bittersweet side of love, it's great to be in love
    but sometimes it just doesn't work out

    *It's about accepting change

    Be ice cold, completely emotionally unattached, cuz being a player is way more idealized than being a cool person with a steady girlfriend or boyfriend.
