Well I saw a king
Drown himself in a creek
Just to tell her
But when he was gone
He had no breath left to tell her
His undying love
His undying love

Well I heard the queen flung herself from the walls of the castle
But in the midst of her fall
She regretted it all
But it was too late
Her undying grief
Was her own life's thief

Well kings and queens know not about love
They sink like a stone in their mind
Just steep

Well im no king and ive no golden crown to adorn a king
But I'm not asking you fall
Except in love with me
Oh just, please fall
In undying love, in undying love

well you and i know not
wat it means
lets sink like two stones, in love
well kings and queens dont no about love
they sink like a stone
in thier mind
just steep
you and i know not what it means
Let's sink like two stones in love

'Cause kings and queens know not about love
they sink like two stones in their minds
just steep

I wish I could edit this, because juuli didn't do the best job on this. Oh well, even with the mistakes, anyone can see how amazing these lyrics are.

They are so deep. It talks about two people who are always looked up to. Two lovers who are never understood, no one thinks kings and queens could be unhappy.

All they want is the love from each other. This is kind of like the Romeo and Juliet scene at the end when they don't think they can have each other so they kill themselves.

I love listening to Andrew Landon.

this song is seriosuly, purely amazing. it just draws you into it with the beautiful melody then makes you think with the amazing lyrics.

i think what's been written about the song is true about the two lovers. i think it is alot about the 'perfect couple' and how alot of people dont really know what goes on.

i think it's about regrets and mistakes that happen along the way, but things will always get better if the love is there, regardless of what happens.

personaly, i have proved this right.

    this song is incredible.

However, this song is NOT by Andrew Landon. He has written a lot of songs by himself, I'm sure and is an amazing musician. But this song is actually written and played by Daniel Bryant, his song called "Like Two Stones".

So please, support the people behind the music, check out Daniel Bryant, myspace.com/danielbryantmusic

And the songs Eveningtide and Scarecrow were written by Jacob White. myspace.com/jacobwhitesongs so go check them both out, there are a few more songs that Andrew Landon stole from other artists.

It's a big deal. Search around if you want to find out the truth for yourself, but stealing is not an act I respect. I hope you guys understand why I'm angry at Andrew Landon for doing this.

Andrew Landon stole this song. He was also sued for it. He's a pathetic piece of work.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
