"Currents Convulsive" as written by and Victor Vincent/fuentes Fuentes....
So long
Congratulations, break a leg tonight
What a shame
I heard the understudy died under the knife
Crying backwards under bedroom light

The operation

I don't think you'll ever want to love me
You'd better listen to your doctor

Sober up
And bury the empty cup
In a backyard of Seattle we used to lie
When I sew you up
Don't let me stop bleeding
Tiny stitches that you placed into my skin
Won't let me go, oh no, oh no
And they're ruining the mood
So I'll toast every beat of my heart like a miracle

And I don't think you'll ever want to love me
You'd better listen to your doctor
Doctors lie, lie, lie!
If the dollar is right
Oh my sweet little girl, hold your mouth and you'll be alright

(Gather round, gather round. Ladies and gentlemen
Come from far come from wide
The moment you've all been waiting for
Tonight, join us as we explore the spine-chilling mystery of death
And the miracle of resurrection!)

Please understand me when
I'd rather see you dead
Than live without me, so thirsty for more
Beyond the sea blue light I met the love of my life
She'd rather see me dead than face me
I like your starry eyes,
They yell surprise! Surprise!
I'm in love...but not for long

Our operation, call off the operation

Another wave has turned its back on me
Crashed back on the eyes of the first I see

(If your delicate eyes don't blink someday they might as well be gone)

Can't count on anything. For you I'd count the salt under the sea

General CommentI think this song is about being in love with an alcoholic. The singer is trying to save her from her addiction and do what's best for her, but she doesn't want him to. I think the doctor thing is about rehab, but I'm not sure.
It seems like he knows that this relationship is unhealthy but he can't stop loving her.

General CommentI think this song is about Hollywood and peer pressure, as well as the hunger for perfection.
"I don't think you'll ever want to love me" -- This girl is pressured into refusing to love someone as imperfect as this guy.
"You'd better listen to your doctor" -- Because this doctor is going to help her achieve "perfection", he's giving her the mindset that anything less than perfect in unacceptable. Therefore, the guy and girl could never be together.
"If the dollar is right" -- The doctors don't care about her really and how she's being brainwashed, just money.
"I'd rather see you dead" -- He would rather her die in the process of perfection or die imperfect than live with her rejection.
"I'm in love...but not for long" -- He won't love her after she's been changed.
I don't know that's my weird interpretation, but I love Pierce the Veil :)

fraeking amazing, this band is sooo good.

i think it's about a guy who is really confused, he wants the girl to not be happy when she's not with him

    and he really loves her.

    im confused myself!

    General CommentSanti, i agree

hes in love with a girl that is drunk with the pressure fame brings. She is looking to change herself to fit a "perfect" image. He is sickened that she would do this. He thinks she is beautiful as she is and is in love with the real girl. He knows he wont love the fake, plastic girl that was altered, and he is a bit insecure about her feelings for him. If her physical appearance changes, what she really wants will change and shell be more interested in someone with similar alterations....

    Agree? disagree?

My Interpretationi agree with Santi and aecter,
I think its about a girl who wants to be perfect, or atleast close to it, and she wants to get an operation, and, once the operations finished, he's afraid she'll go for something much better to him, or, if she stays with him, he'll leave her, cause he liked the imperfect in her,. Now that its gone she's just another fake girl like everyone else, and he'll leave her. The part where it says "i'd rather see you dead, than live without me" that's where he would rather have her dead, during the process, than him leaving, and her wanting more of him.
this part "Gather round, gather round," etc, is where the death of the old her, and when the operation was finished, (the resurrection), its like a deformed zombie of what she used to be,
"she'd rather see me dead than face me" that probably means, she'd rather have him die, than hear his lecture, about how he doesnt like the operation.

General CommentI'm not sure if i'm going out on a limb, but what if it's him that an alcoholic and this girl doesn't want anything to do with him, but he can't live without here.
"and i don't think you'll ever want to love me, you better listen to your doctor"
Perhaps he knows how much he is bringing her down, and he is trying to warn her that he is no good.
"Another wave has turned its back on me
Crashed back on the eyes of the first I see"
Maybe he is saying that another relationship has failed from his addiction...
