Whoa, I don't know how you can forgive me.

This is redemption.
This is our lives washed clean.

Cover up
All that we've become.
Don't let the world
Take the best of you.

And I can see a clearing.
This will all come to an end,
And we'll meet face to face.
It will all work out in the end.

I adore this song. Jeremy, the clean vocalist/guitarist from TDWP does the vocals in this song and I absolutely love his voice. He could start his own band and do all the singing and that'd be great with me. :)

What a beautiful song. Pretty self explanatory... I totally can identify with these lyrics. He is asking God how He can forgive him for his sins and continue to love him all the same. And the last two paragraphs describe how He cleanses him of the sins he's committed and renews his life. And just like that he is brand new

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.
