I do believe this song is about either a river or a mountain range. Ive heard other songs from these guys about the saint lawrence river and the thousand islands between the great lakes. Must be the river I think. Its one of the most beautiful places Ive ever seen in my life and Ive been all over north america. Definitely worth writing a song about.

The songs are more rewarding if you bring something to them. I think the experience of them is different for everybody. It’s alright to listen just on a surface level, and I think they work alright on that level, but getting deeper into them is more rewarding for a listener I think. It’s not exactly party music.
