    This song is about loving someone so much that you'd rather that they are happy even if it is without you. All you'd want is for them to be happy. And finally you are pleading with them to let you down/ or break it to you gently to get used to the idea/ or ease the pain and maybe love you just a little bit longer before they leave you.
