For crying out loud its girl next door
Lying there naked on the bathroom floor
Because of you she left the room

And how about parents in the nursery homes
Every third Sunday they get clean rooms
There’s no excuse to leave the room

There’s a bastard child in the parking lot
You could of told someone but you rather not
What’s the use
They’d just blame you

You did nothing wrong
You did nothing at all
No its not your fault
You did nothing at all

No you didn’t its been done before
The sun was shaking and your eyes were sore
The truth hurts you

Sisters tone on the phone was wrong
Her husband left and her kid got shot
There’s no excuse for all this room

I begged and pleaded for another chance
You didn’t want to hear me now the dead can dance
And you left me in ruin

And you did nothing wrong
You did nothing at all

How could it be your fault
You did nothing at all

No you did nothing wrong
You did nothing at all

You did nothing wrong
You did nothing at all

How could it be your fault
You did nothing at all

General CommentTo me this song is about people who watch bad things happen but do nothing to stop it or change fate.

If you saw someone drowning what would you do? Throw them a lifesaver? Jump in and save them? Or watch the bubbles slowly fade away?

*i'm not sure if all the lyrics are correct so if anyone sees anything wrong let me know

General CommentI loved this song the minute I heard it. J. Loren is so powerful with playing on emotions in his art...

I can see all the posts above as correct in a way...

To me, it means you're watching terrible things happen but choose to lay low about them.

Song MeaningI watched a few videos of them playing this live and the singer said it is about people who do "nothing". I think it is pretty obvious that the song is about what all of you say. My explanation is that it is about people who look the other way when bad things happen. People who don't act on what they believe is right.
