Wanna hold a vision of tomorrow
Understand the truth from the lie
Wanted love and craving some attention
Where was I when you lost your sight
You wear your heart on your sleeve
The weather…

One day through the next we'll see
You might not remember me
Memories dissolve with years
Age can take the best I fear

One day through the next we'll see
You might not remember me
Memories dissolve with years
Seems that isolation brings us near

Gotta find my place in displacement
I'll defy the truth for a lie
Capture all the vistas of your own life
Face to face alone at the time
So wear your hearts on your sleeve
The weather…

One day through the next we'll see
You might not remember me
Memories dissolve with years
Age can take the best I fear

One day through the next we'll see
You might not remember me
Memories dissolve with years
Seems that isolation brings us near

One day through the next we'll see
You might not remember me
Memories dissolve with years
Age can take the best I fear

One day through the next we'll see
You might not remember me
Memories dissolve with years
Seems that isolation brings us near

General CommentI've never quite understood the meaning behind this song, but I think it's talking about finding your place in a broken world. Sometimes in our attempt to belong somewhere, we deny ourselves for what society says is true. "Face to face alone all the time", I believe this line is talking about who we are when we're alone & nobody's looking.

General CommentI think that the songs is talking about being in bad situation and be accompanied with someone that shares a sort of empathy with you, but at the same time a desperation invade both and they only want to get through. I think they did kind of a pact to stay together, but he doesn't really trust this person words and want to see if he or she will keep the promise when they start doing better.
