Please, Before I Go Lyrics
Kiss me once more, please, before I go
Kiss me sweetheart, and I won’t go no more
‘Cause I feel a little drunk
Like a man who just can’t get enough
And there’s just one thing that can cool my head
Like an addict to his fix
So am I to your sweet lips
The wife of my youth, my drug of choice
Just kiss me once more, please, before I go
And kiss me sweetheart, and I won’t go no more
Just kiss me
Kiss me sweetheart, and I won’t go no more
Like a man who just can’t get enough
And there’s just one thing that can cool my head
So am I to your sweet lips
The wife of my youth, my drug of choice
And kiss me sweetheart, and I won’t go no more

This is obviously just a sweet little romantic song. I have always liked that about Derek -- he sings about all things. Life, love, money, war, poverty...it's so refreshing to listen to a well-rounded Christian artist. So much better than all the redundant "Hallelujah, ya'll!" drivel that surrounds us.
