Cover me in anything you'd have on me
Curl my teeth with bitter smiles and cigarettes
Torture me and let me watch you as you fuck him
Bury me in love until I suffocate

'Cause it's easier to make love
Than to crawl across the floor and beg for more

After all this cold I'm sure won't last for long
The Bible thumpers on each corner turn to drink
They only do it to avoid the freezing cold
Their mother chase them out of bars and down the street

'Cause it's easier to hide from
Than it is to face reality each day

General CommentMind fuck that Gary Lightbody. Amazing song. No-one can make songs like this anymore. Look at the songs that are high in the charts now. Fucking Flo Rida and Chris Brown. All they can think of is slapping bootys. Fuck them. Theyre talentless. I mean that. Everybody who thinks they're real musicisand need a good punch.

General CommentI don't like it. I don't like hearing Gary say "fuck" in a song. He is too classy; too talented; too special reduce feeling to a cuss word. I don't get the second stanza. Who's making love? Is he talking about his former girlfriend? Or is he screwing someone and calling it love? For goodness sakes, do NOT call Flo Rida talentless. His music is just different from Snow Patrol's and there is room in music for ALL genres. Not everyone can/will relate to Snow Patrol just as not everyone can/will relate to Flo Rida. They come from different backgrounds; educational levels; life experiences; etc. (And besides, he has delicious tattoos, and THAT counts for somethin' in my book!)
