The First Vietnamese War Lyrics
In my young age
You sent me oversea
And put the fear in me
And I ask what for now
Why me, why war?
And I ask what for now
Vietnam War?
Spend my time there by the shore
Charlies everywhere
A lotta killin' and dyin'
And no one seems to care
I ask what for now
We say hell no
And I ask what for
Why me, why war?
And I spend my time there by the shore
While you were here
You came into our homes
And you took our kids
And you ask for more now
For this new war
And you ask for more now
Vietnam War
I spend my time there by the shore

i think what the black angels were trying to say is FUCK WAR

This is a powerful song, both lyrically & musically. This entire album, Passover, is an important album of this decade. The guitar effects & the tribal drumming & the drone effects, are mesmerizing. This song is very clear in its meaning.

How has nobody commented such an awesome song? The wah in this song is amazing. Wah pedals are just ... sex. Great band. Hope they get some success and continue playing music for many years to come.

Great song, excellent CD.

These guys knock the crap out of most of the bands that have come out since '06

One of the best bands since "76 if you ask me. A lot of my friends are older, boomers, artists and musicians. When I played this cd at a party, the response was immense, they creamed in their jeans ! They came running over to me going "Who IS this? Where did you FIND them?" I love this song, it just tells it like it is, straight up " you came into our home, and you took our KID" When will people wake up and realize how they are being manipulated and lied to by the elites that run the world?

I think it says -Sixty thousand men died While you all hid
