"When All Is Said And Done" as written by Martin Sean Brannigan, Keith Peter Thomas Francis Joh Duffy, Stephen Patrick David Gately, Michael Graham, Ronan Keating, Shane Eamon Mark Stephen Lynch and Ray Hedges....
Blindness feeds the world to madness
Faith's crumbling, there's no doubt about it
Religion and science fighting a new kind of war

Helpless wander the streets in desperation
Fearless to the path they tread
Shameless the powers that butcher
Ignorant to the deeds that they commit

When all is said and done
Heaven lies in my heart
No slave to beliefs that propagate pain
When all is said and done
Heaven lies in our hearts
This life is a gift to be lived and loved

Fracturing the structure of nature
Iconic catalysts to slaughter
A stalemate bursting bound by contradictions

Heartless divine blueprints of hatred
Selfless Diseased master plans
Shameless the powers that butcher
Ignorant to the deeds that they commit

Decoded treachery shielding the tyranny
Black Bible tyrants behind masks of righteousness
Relentless the onslaught of misunderstanding
Descending into a unified chaos

One more chance for a shot at redemption
Lost within, can we summon the might?

General CommentI fucking love this track. Quite melodic yet grindcore/death metal-alike. Masterpiece

General Commentthese lyrics are amazing. this is what it means to me:

    the first verse:
people rely on blind faith, and true belief is fading. there's a constant battle between science and religon.

faiths/beleifs aren't enough to get you through life; and the people who have "faith" don't know what they're doing or anything about what they're saying.

neither science or religon can make you happy, or explain everything. true happiness is in you, and its your responsibilty to find it, and accept the life you have and learn to love it.

it doesn't matter what you believe in or who's right, either way its destroying us/nature. no matter what we can't prove anything

the difference of beliefs only cause war, though they don't realize what they're doing, or think its wrong. they think that since they're doing if for their god, then its ok to kill people, ok to bomb those who oppose.

"One more chance for a shot at redemption
Lost within, can we summon the might?"
to me those last lines are saying that we have a chance to fix all of this, to get away from this chaos, but its up to oursleves to fix what we've done

that's what the lyrics mean to me. not necessarily what they really mean.

General CommentI agree and disagree with Malice. I think theybare saying that religion blinds people, but I don't think they are saying that religion is bad as much as the people and the things they do to either make themselves look better than they are or to tear others down.

Over all I get a lot of different things from this song, such as when he says "Religion and science fighting a new kind of war," he's talking about how people don't except others for their beliefs. The christians tell every one they are going to hell, and the athiests call the Christians dumb.

Another thing is that no matter what you believe, make sure it's something that makes you happen. "Heaven lies in my heart." it can't be just what others are preaching, but what you feel to be true. Also that we aren't meant to jus focus on what we beleive and have that take over out lives, but to just enjoy life
