This is the old version of Sheep... before the release of Animals
This song has been performed live several times but never released. But in 1977 the song was rewritten and retitled to Sheep when it appeared on the Animals album. The music, lyrics and vocals are all by Waters in this song.
For The Animals album and subsequent renaming of this track the band changed the first line from 'Raving and Drooling' to 'Bleeting and Babbling'
This song was played on the DSOTM tour or just after and was about a DJ in that had pissed Roger off enough to warrant this song. Yes of course new lyrics were created and it became sheep on The ANIMALS Record
I think that the rhythm of the music especially the bass is reminiscent of the song on the Meddel album - \'One of these Days\
