We are Generation Greed
We are Generation Soma
Our Desire is More
But More Will Never Be Enough

Welcome to the Shores of Plenty
Where Possession Equals Happiness

We are Generation Soma
Generation Greed
In the Lungs of Abundance
Paradigm Lost

We are So Sick as to Choke on Too Much
Instead of Starving on Too Less
We are Flooded by a Tidal Wave of Poison
Slowly Polluting Our Minds

Our Prosperity
Is Based on Explioting You
Your Poverty and Weakness
Will Always Ensure Our Wealth

Peace of Mind Lies Hidden Deep Within
It Can't Be Sold or Bought
This Illusion Can Protect You
This Illusion Will Also Swallow You

Welcome to the Shores of Plenty
Where Possession Equals Hapiness

I love this song of Neaera. It's about that we have a lot but we don't care about the most imporant things.

    My Opinion
"We are So Sick as to Choke on Too Much Instead of Starving from Too Less" My favorite part of the song. Amazing lyrics and the tremblo guitar picking in the backround made me cry :S.

    My Interpretation
Aldous Huxley's novel "Brave New World" in a nutshell (thus also the reference to it ("generation Soma")). We have so many things we love that we forget there are things we have to despise in order to make the world a better place void of greed, exploitation and poverty. We simply do not care anymore about the bad things others experience every day - why should we? We live the perfect life. "Welcome to the shores of plenty."
