Leave it to me
To lose all your confidence
No, I can't stop
This train wreck before it hits

I hope I don't sound
Like the X's on your calendar
I stumble on new ground
To gather up the formula

Fate, faith
You and me, love and pain
Fate, faith
You and me, love and pain

How selfish of me
To think I'm the only one
To question mistakes
A fool's game, I'm losing now

Just taking my time
Planning out my escape
I'm scared what I'll find
But it's the choice I have to make

Fate, faith
You and me, love and pain
Fate, faith
You and me, love and pain

Even I know there's a line
Between emotion and
Fate, faith
You and me, love and pain

We can't control what we are
It's not our place
It's out of our hands

Fate, faith
You and me, love and pain
Fate, faith
You and me, love and pain

Even I know there's a line
Between emotion and
Fate, faith
You and me, love and pain

Fate, faith
You and me, love and pain
Fate, faith
You and me, love

Even I know there's a line
Between emotion and
Fate, faith
You and me, love and pain

No comments yet? This is definitely my favorite off the newest album!...

Anyway, I guess it could be interpreted quite a few different ways... I mean, looking at it one way, it seems like it's about a relationship that really isn't working too well... not the way I like to see it, but... yeah. Great song.

I really like the song, it seems tragical point of view to describe how things can't go well in th relationship...dunno, anyone knows what this song really talking bout?

i think this song is about two persons that are meant for each other but met at the wrong time. you can't help but love someone so they will try.

Just like everysong off this album it's super catchy and nfg-esque. To me, i think that this song is about a relationship that has gotten out of hand and is uncontrollable - if they don't end things soon it is only going to get worse. I think that using Fate with Faith, Love with pain and throwing in "you and me" shows that things just don't go together and the relationship needs to be ended.

To me, this song is about a guy confused on whether to keep the relationship he has with this girl or to end it. Just read over the second verse of the song and the answer is crystal clear. He is pretty much saying that he really hasn't paid attention to her probably due to the fact that he is not into her anymore and how he says "planning my escape". He isn't too sure what the right thing is to do and that is why he says "I'm scared what I'll find but it's the choice I have to make" in which he is simply saying is that he'll find out if it was the right decision or not to let her go.

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
