So much is happening to me.
So much that I can't even see.
So many words of wisdom that I am trying to be.
Catch me if I should fall.
And even more so while I'm standing tall.

My head is spinning around and it's making me dizzy.
I'm spinning around and it's making me ill.
You don't understand what I'm going through just to find a way to climb.
It'll be in my own time.
It'll be in my own time.

Whispering thoughts in all different ways.
That I'm in a daze.
My head is spinning around and it's making me dizzy.
I'm spinning around and it's making me ill.
You don't understand what I'm going through just to find a way to climb.

It'll be in my own time.
Cause it'll be in my own time.
In my own time.
In my own time I'll take a chance.
In my own time I'll find romance. In my own time.

It'll be mine.
After the clouds there'll be the rain.
After the sun there'll be the moon it doesn't matter.
Cause it'll be in my own time

This is definitely one of the best Delta songs--spoken by one of the biggest Delta fans out there. This just really proves not only her vocal range, her piano superiority, and her ability to encompass all sorts of emotions... it has some of the most artful lyrics of any of her songs. 'Innocence is still within... evergreen but overgrown'... absolutely gorgeous. This is a stunning song from a stunning artist.

What do people think that: 'I get frightened when I think of me as someone else' means?

i love this song so much! the line "innocence is still within, evergreen but overgrown" really reflects my life right now. this song is quite deep and my basic perception wont do it justice but i think it is about growing up and and reflecting on yourself. the lyrics are simply beautiful and i can completely identify with what delta is saying. such a beautiful song, im suprised it wasnt on the official album. oh well, makes it all the more rare and special to find.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
