26 letters from A to Z
L-A-U-G-H, E and there's S
put them in an order and
they become words
words become a sentence
we'll add nouns and verbs

i'd like to show you a million things
i'd like to make the world for you a better place
but when it pours, it really rains, so
put on your boots, and let's play

ants live in a jungle
leave a trail to their homes
so they can find their way back
if they're ever alone

monkeys in the trees
they eat bananas too fast
lions and the tigers they
hunt in the grass

i'd like to show you a million things
i'd like to make the world for you a better place
but when it pours, it really rains, so
put on your boots, and let's play

how come all the rulers of this earth
get off on teaching something strong(?)
please learn to rule with your head, not your fist
and those lessons that you learn will carry on

i'd like to show you a million things
i'd like to make the world for you a better place
but when it pours, it really rains, so
put on your boots, and let's play

it's a long long way to go now
i'll be there if you call
it's a long long way to go now
i'll be there if you call

No wonder this hasn't got any comments... it's the weirdest S-K song ever. Does not sound like them at all. Did she write this for her kid? 'Cause it sounds like some sort of jingle you'd get at the start of a children's show. Decent song, I guess.... but not your usual s-k stuff!

Holiday

@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
