I think this is about good friends who are moving away from each other: One night the narrator is going through the memories they've shared and have high hopes that they'll keep in touch even tho they live afar from each other.
This is one of my favourite songs by the Allister cuz the sadness and hope in it. I can relate to it cuz I'm about to loose many good friends who are gonna move to a different cities within a month.
