Page 1 Lyrics

That look of indifference is most unbecoming on your face. I've stretched myself over mountians and deserts, only to find that my embrace was not reciprocated as once was promised.

Plant these seeds of distance. They will bloom, green with envy. It's roots run deep, so scrawl your name into the bark and walk away.

Shadows will define my face as I enter the nothing. I watched as you turned your back on me.

What is it that I am lacking that he has in such abundance. I once placed my head upon you chest and there I heard the murmurs of your soul. It sang to me like a Siren.

it looks like we meet again autistic... and I wasn't even on your profile! haha.. anyways, this band does not have much material available on the net right now so I'd be happy to supply anyone with 1 or 2 sample tracks from "Prologue:"

anyways, this line "What is it that I am lacking that he has in such abundance" pretty much sums up the meaning of the song. it's dumb to always think songs are about girls so I guess this song could be about a different relationship. the person in the song has done a lot to strengthen and develop the relationship in question (i've stretched myself over mountains and deserts), only to find that their feelings are in no way reciprocated.

Now, they're called "Histories". They've changed the band's name.
