Gather around me,
I need some time to recollect these thoughts of mine
You're so kind to stand behind me,
Help me face these fears I've built over the years
It's so clear your always here
(I wouldn't leave you here like this)
And I'm desperate, oh so desperate to feel alive
(you need someone to help you,
Please let me guide you through this)
Your so kind to offer assistance in my interest,
I could've never made it through tonight
It's so right cause we saw this coming through and I'm still here,
Keep me here I believe
Finding faith you must agree upon a state of action
Keep me posted, still in action

I keep you here cause I believe
Finding faith is what I need
To take the chances I must take
Before my heart begins to break

I know you have it hard sometimes,
Don't let the bad things rule your life
Sit back and watch your life take flight,
You're just so young you have the time
The time
Just leave it alone x2

keep me here I believe
Finding faith you must agree
Upon a state of action
Keep me posted, still in action

I'll keep you here cause I believe
Finding faith is what I need
To take the chances I much take
Before my heart begins to break
Before my heart begins to break

Thanks for being here my friend,
Here with me til the very end of time
We're gonna do this one together x2

Thanks for being here my friend,
We're gonna do this one together
Thanks for being here my friend,
Keep me here I believe
Finding faith you must agree
Upon a state of action
Keep me posted, still in action.

i'm seriously confused at why no one else has commented this song.. i think it's one of the most amazing songs i've ever heard.. especially one of my faves from tsa. i loveeee it. i remember their concert i went too, andrew looked at me and sang the part "finding faith is what i need, to take the chances i must take, before my heart begins to break", so of course that's my favorite part.. such an amazing song..

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
