"My Generation" as written by and Peter Townshend....
There is something more
Hello, we're going down the hallway to the door
We know there's something more

Our soul has a got a hole
We know but was it waiting for
Scattered in the street
Like dreams and destiny
The things we wanna be
Are scattered in the streets

If we're coming clean
We've seen to know we're incomplete

How do we feel?, how do we feel?
My generation is aching for real
Dyin for love, cryin for truth
My generation is aching for you

Country of our own
Is all we're asking for
A place to call our home
A country of our own

We know it must be close
Our souls are searching through the cold
The cold, the cold

[Chorus: x3]
How do we feel?, How do we feel?
My generation is aching for real
Dyin for love, cryin for truth
My generation is aching for you

General CommentI can't believe that no one has commented on this song yet. I've just recently come across it, but it has really impacted my life so far. It is just so real. I'm still in high school, and this song is like my anthem. Kids at my school are always aching for the right things, but they find them in the wrong places. They want to be loved, but they just don't grasp yet that it's God they need.

General Commenti agree with redpeach91. God is what ppl need, even if they dont realize it. there are many ppl that stop listening to a conversation at the first mention of God's name. thats really sad. ppl shouldnt do that. hopefully they will change someday.

My Interpretation"If we're coming clean we seem to know we're incomplete"
Drugs? Or possibly coming clean about a previous lie?
I'm inclined to go with drugs because of it being called "my generation". This generation being one where the youth partake in drugs for various reasons.
