Phil's trying to woo another woman.
I like how Phil made this an epic song, instead of a pop hit. "Find a way to my heart, and i will always be with you" It's a promise, and a challenge. It challenges the woman to put effort into the relationship. It challenges the narrative. Love is not a one-way street. The man has been hurt before, and he's learned from the experience. But he hasn't shut himself off. He's still open to love. He just needs a woman to step up if she loves him. He doesn't feel loveable. If she makes him feel loveable, he'll love her back.
