The Vicodin Song Lyrics

Lyrics for "The Vicodin Song"
The Vicodin Song

you can drive you can drive you can drive
down the 405
to the 101 to my house
and these highways are in so many songs
i couldn't count them all
i tried
so much sad history described in a ride
and when i told you i was happy i lied
i lied i lied i lied...

and i've got vicodin do you wanna come over
i know it's a long drive from malibu
i got a pocket full of pills and not one lover
and i'm feeling so bad and so good
i don't know what to do...

and i'll take my chances now
cause i can't go back i'm out too far
and i'm thinking i'm thinking
i'm thinking that you know how it feels
so get in your car and drive
and i can tell you that i'll try
i'll try i'll try i'll try

and i've got vicodin do you wanna come over
i know it's a long drive from malibu
i got a pocket full of pills and not one lover
and i'm feeling so bad and so good
i don't know what to do...

it's in your face
i know that place you're going to
i'll follow you
i'll meet you there
don't bring a thing for me
i'll take care i'll take care

and i've got vicodin do you wanna come over
i know it's a long drive from malibu
i got a pocket full of pills and not one lover
and i'm feeling so bad and so good
i don't know what to do...

I think this song isn't just about masking pain with drugs, I think it's also about crying for help, trying to break free of the physical and emotional tie to the vicodin too.

beautiful piano accomanying terras soully voice but too bad the lyrics are about drug abuse and masking your pain

Lol. This song is based off the TV show House. Dr. House has an addiction to vicodin. But he's not hiding any pain, apparent by his personality.

This song speaks to me, it says go, carpe diem, jump into it. That man says "come to me, im waiting, been waiting a long time for you, im your medicin" ...and i dont know how many times i´ve been on my way..in dreams at least. fear is a harsch mistress..

I love this song. I just came across the lyrics, and they are so beautiful. Because despite the drug abuse and all, it's just someone who's lost, don't know what to do about life. So much beauty lies in the lyrics. Terra Naomi has got an amazing voice, so much depth, and she plays so very well the piano. It adds so much more intensity because you can hear her voice very clearly, and the lyrics just hang around in the air. Because this song tell us so much, I think they're lots of us who could listen and say "hey, it's kind of me". That's when you know it's an amazing song.

I love the piano music that accompanies this song!

The song isn't just about drugs. It's a meditation on hopelessness that doesn't delve too deeply into despair.

The singer is reaching out to someone. She knows that she needs help and a listening ear.
