I really like this song. I think Marit is a little more musically talented than Marion.. Her voice used to seem young and childish in M2M but somehow it's gotten.. more mature? oO; Perhaps that's the word for it. Or the music got more mature. One of those.
The song is pretty straight forward, but for those who don't understand it..
She was in love with a friend, and before she knew it the feeling became mutual, possibly so fast she can't believe it's really happening. But she has her doubts and insecurities, still wondering if he's with her because he's trying to make up for what he lost or if he genuinely cares about her and not the girl he had before.
Marit is basically saying: If you told her that you loved her and it ended, what makes it sure that the times you say "I love you" are true and it's not happening again. If you loved her in the way you love me, isn't it possible that you still feel something strong about her?
