Elämäni kevät kuin sulaa hulluutta
Kuljen aamutaivaan alla
Silmät sokeina, jalat rakoilla ja
Sydän hakkaa kahtasataa

Oli pakko - vaihdoin suuntaa
Palaan polkuni jälkiä, nyt on kiire
Päivä nousee sittenkin...
Nyt tiedän mitä sanoa

Mieleni maisemassa ainoat maamerkit
Ovat jättämäni syvät arvet
Juoksen ja koetan suunnata kotiin
Mutta kuljen ristiin, eksynyt poika

Sulavat tunteet jäätyvät jälleen,
Pahoja sanoja ja askel painaa
Mustavalkoiseen maailmaan
Tahdon kuitenkin palata ja huutaa

Vihaan sinua ihminen
Jäljitin sen, jäljitin sen kadonneen lauseen

Vihaan sinua ihminen
Kadonneet kolme sanaa, olikin jo aika vaihtaa suuntaa

Vihaan sinua ihminen
ei minulta mitään puutu näillä mennään, ei mikään muutu

Vihaan sinua ihminen
kadonneet kolme sanaa, en aio enää vaihtaa suuntaa

Takalukossa on ovi,
Kynnys on ylitetty viimeistä kertaa
Menneen talven lumia kaikki,
Hiljaa haihtuneet taivaan tuuliin
Päivä kääntyy ehtoon puoleen,
Minä käännyn selin ja isken tulta koska
Jalkoja vieläkin paleltaa... mutta ei kauaa

Ei askeltakaan, ei sanoja
En läydä enää tarvetta karata
Jos totuus ei pala tulessakaan
Oli paluuni oikein ja puhe turha

Okay, you better read this cause I bothered to do this :)

I'm sorry if some parts are weird. There are some finnish phrases that are difficult to translate well... and I'm kinda crap. haha...

The spring of my life like melting insanity I walk under the morning sky Eyes blind, feet blistered and Heart beating two thousand

I had to - I changed the direction I retrace the steps of my path, I'm in a hurry The day is rising after all... Now I know what to say

Only landmarks in the landscape of my mind Are the deep scars I've caused I'm running and trying to find my way back home But I walk crossed, a lost boy

The melting feelings are cooling down again Nasty words and heavy steps In to the world black and white But I want to return and scream

I hate you human I traced it, I traced the lost sentence

I hate you human The lost three words, it was about the time to change the direction

I hate you human I'm not missing anything this is how we're going, nothing is changing

I hate you human The lost three words, I'm not going to change the direction anymore

The door is backlocked The threshold has been crossed for the last time It's like the snow of last winter Slowly disappeared to the thin air The day is turning into night I turn my back and strike fire because My feet are still frozen... but not for long

Not a step, not a word I have no longer a need to run away If the truth doesn't burn in fire My returning was right and talk pointless

Okay... that should be about right. I hope you're happy :)

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

When We Were Young
Blink-182
This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
