Stop and think about what you're doing if you've got the time to spare,
jet set, guest list, red carpet, baby are you going anywhere?
(I've been alone)
I'm waiting up all night and there's so much to tell you,
(I've been alone)
you put your hand on mine, your heart's with someone else.
(Then we get it on)

Gotta know, is there something to tell me?
There's a difference in your heartbeat.
All I know is it's driving me crazy,
there's a difference in your heartbeat, baby.
Baby.

Now I can't keep up with you darling cause you're living way too fast.
I don't make a whole lot of money so I gotta make it last.
(Well I've been alone)
I'm waiting up all night while you go out late dancing.
(I've been alone)
You sparkle in the lights and his approving glances, oh yeah.

Gotta know, is there something to tell me?
There's a difference in your heartbeat.
(Gotta know)
All I know is it's driving me crazy,
there's a difference in your heartbeat, baby.
There's a difference in your heartbeat, baby.

How I love it, when we do it.
You hold on like there's no one else but me.
But there's a difference, the way your heart beats.
You close your eyes, baby who are you trying to see?

Gotta know, is there something to tell me?
There's a difference in your heartbeat.
(Gotta know)
All I know is it's driving me crazy,
there's a difference in your heartbeat, baby.
There's a difference in your heartbeat, baby.

The meaning to this song is pretty clear. The guys is sure he's getting cheated on,which sucks....well enough about me.In the verses he is being descriptive about what is going on in their relationship "you put your hand on mine, your heart's with somone else...now i can't keep up with you...i'm waiting up all night while you go out late dancing".While in the chorus he notices something different about her and questions her behaviour. In the bridge of the song "when they do it" he notices that she closes her eyes as if to imagine someone else. And the whole time it "drives him crazy".On a side note i love when he sings "in your heartbeat, baby".

Couldn't agree more with you. I fear this is what my boyfriend thinks of me but there really isn't any one else.

I disagree with the two previus comments. I think it's about falling out of love while you are still in a relationship. He knows she's falling for someone else, but she's not telling him, and he loves her so he's not going to let her go unless she outright says she wants another man. Despite, yeah, it does seem a lot like she is cheating, it also seems really innocent, too? Like she isn't exactly physically cheating, but mentally and emotionally she's with anoher dude.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
