leave your phone number somewhere I can find it
what have we got to lose?
it's not over now just because it's over
we've still got something good

and if I leave now it's not because I want to
I'd really like to stay
think of me when you're feeling hot and lonely
I won't be far away, no no

call me up when the feeling strikes you
I'll call you up when I got nothing to do
then we won't have to be alone tonight

there's a war on but let's not let that stop us
we've got a lot to do
it's not over now just because it's over
we've still got something good

call me up when the feeling strikes you
I'll call you up when I got nothing to do
then we won't have to be alone tonight
tonight

call me up when the feeling strikes you
I'll call you up when I got nothing to do
call me up when you're feeling lonely
I'll call you up when I'm feeling that way too

call me up when the feeling strikes you
I'll call you up when I got nothing to do
call me up when you're feeling lonely
I'll call you up when I'm feeling that way too
call me up

General CommentI think the song is pretty self-explanitory. But it's amazing of course.

Or i t could be totally opposite to what it seems to be saying - saying NOT to call when the feeling strikes, this song just being something one feels obligated to say when dumping someone.
