I think it's about her not knowing whether her boyfriend is really there for her. She wants him to say that he 'looked out for her' and she says that she 'wasn't sure if you were really there.' At the end, she realizes it's never going to happen, so she gives up on him.
This song, to me, is about life in general. You got your relationships and the other people in the world who "are ripping you off". Great song! And the video is cool too!

I believe its more about a friend relationship...just talkin about how some friends are true and others are fake...I mean, I suppose it could be more about a boy/girl relationship thing, but it just sounds more like friends to me...anyways, good song. Damone is certainly going somewhere!

iruleall no the video doesnt make any sense because it was about the evil dead (80's horror movie). I love this song and its like a crossroad for her and she tried to get some insight from a person, they didn't help so she is moving on.
