It's hard to say how I think in this life
I lost my way, lost my way, my own mind
You should've left, should've left on time
It's no mistake, no mistake you're mine

Shoot me down, when I
Hate to see you drown

I didn't do, didn't do, didn't do
I didn't do this for you cool
Didn't say, didn't say, didn't say
I didn't say this was to cool
I didn't do, didn't do, didn't do
I didn't do this for you cool
Didn't say, didn't say

You never knew, never knew, never knew
You never should, never should, never should
I needed someone, someone to be here, always and
When the suns down, don?t want to cut here you say

Shoot me down, when I
Hate to see you drown

I didn't do, didn't do, didn't do
I didn't do this for you cool
Didn't say, didn't say, didn't say
I didn't say this was to cool
I didn't do, didn't do, didn't do
I didn't do this for you cool

Shoot me down, when I
Hate to see you drown

It's hard to say how I think in this life
I lost my way, lost my way, my own mind

Teacher for me now
Tell me something I don?t know
Give me warning signs
It's a lie already know
Yeah, yeah, yeah

Tell me stories of old
About the games and queens of old
Teach me lullabies
And the tales that's never told
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah

Turn the pages, there's someone else to get here
Change the channel, there's someone left behind
And watch your words 'cause there's someone else behind you
Lets turn our backs, it's a crime, it's a crime, a crime, a crime

It's a half full glass, and the bells already told
It's a warning sign, is my blood really this cold
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Turn the pages, there's someone else to get here
Change the channel, there's someone left behind
And watch your words 'cause there's someone else behind you
Lets turn our backs, it's a crime, it's a crime, a crime, a crime

Spin a web to pass the time
Perhaps I'll call two friends of mine
And if it's all the same to you
We'll skip the fables of the past
All the pieces left behind
Begin to tease the piece of mind
Is this how this is meant to be
Broken bones belong to

You don't know me x12

This older skies has broken back
It's no surprise they all evac
They may suppose it brings to you
The chance to see through all the sides
A thousand laughs, a thousand smiles
A thousand tears lost in the files
Where's the sense in holding on
For yesterday's already gone

Oh we try
Already gone
Don't look back

When the suns down, don’t want to cut here you say

I think this verse is supposed to be: When the sun's down, someone to pick up pieces

I'm not sure either what song means, but I also love it and BKB.

Holiday

@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
