Hee, hee, hee

My baby's always dancin'
And wouldn't be a bad thing
But I don't get no lovin'
And that's no lie

We spent the night in Frisco
At every kind of disco
From that night I kissed our love goodbye

Don't blame it on the sunshine
Don't blame it on the moonlight
Don't blame it on the good times
Blame it on the boogie

Don't blame it on the sunshine
Don't blame it on the moonlight
Don't blame it on the good times
Blame it on the boogie

That nasty boogie bugs me
But somehow it has drugged me
Spellbound rhythm gets me on my feet

I've changed my life completely
I've seen the lightning leave me
And my baby just can't take her eyes off me

Don't blame it on the sunshine
Don't blame it on the moonlight
Don't blame it on the good times
Blame it on the boogie

Don't you blame it on the sunshine
Don't blame it on the moonlight
Don't blame it on the good times
Blame it on the boogie
Woo

I just can't
I just can't
I just can't control my feet

I just can't
I just can't (yeah)
I just can't control (woo) my feet

I just can't
I just can't
I just can't control my feet

I just can't
I just can't
I just can't control my feet

Sunshine
Don't blame it on the moonlight
Don't blame it on the good times
Blame it on the boogie

Don't blame it on the sunshine
Don't blame it on the moonlight
Don't, on the good times
Blame it on the boogie

This magic music grooves me
That dirty rhythm fools me
The Devil's gotten to me through this dance

I'm full of funky fever
A fire burns inside me
Boogie's got me in a super trance

Don't blame it on the sunshine
Don't blame it on the moonlight
Don't blame it on the good times
Blame it on the boogie
(Don't you blame it)

Sunshine
Don't blame it on the moonlight
Don't blame it on the good times
Blame it on the boogie
Ow

(Sunshine) woo
(Moonlight) yeah
(Good times) mmm
(Boogie) you just got to

(Sunshine) yeah
(Moonlight)
(Good times) good times
(Boogie)

Don't you blame it (sunshine)
You just got to (moonlight)
You just want to (good times)
Yeah, oh (boogie)
Blame it on yourself (sunshine)
Ain't nobody's fault (moonlight)
But yours and that boogie (good times)
All, all night long (boogie)

Can't stop that boogie (sunshine)
Ain't nobody's fault (moonlight)
But yours and that boogie (good times)
Dancin' all night long (boogie)
Blame it on yourself (sunshine)
Ain't nobody's fault (moonlight)
But yours and that funky
Funky boogie, boogie, (woo) yeah

    My Interpretation
Okay well.. My interpretation of the song is that He's dating a girl that loves to party/go to discos. Because of that he never sees her like he wants to. At first he didn't like it until he experienced it himself. He became overwhelmed and couldn't help but to dance along with her. Then she's all over him again when he joins her.

Spot on interpretation by you translator. Also, Satan is the spirit behind most of this music. The lines don’t blame it on the sunshine, moonlight, the good times. Blame it on yourself says the devil. It’s your fault not mine. The devil knows you’re a sinner and he charms you with his music. It knows what it is doing and is very excellent at it.

    Song Meaning
the boogie straight forward is the possession of an evil spirit like the devil. im sure as children we remember the boogieman. the boogieman had a long history in euro culture boogieman was once known as puck which is known to mean the devil or supernatural force. more current songs like timbaland's up jumps the boogie, boogie jumps me; clearly refers to spirit possession especially when he blasphemes the name of YHWH in his lyrics. Devil is known for being a master of ceremonies when it comes to music. Who you think influenced the Israelites to make a golden calf while listening to 'strange music' ? * interestingly puck/boogieman is half calf half man" "The devil's gotten to me Through this dance" - moonwalker

Somewhere Only We Know
Keane
Per the FAQ on Keane's website, Keane's drummer Richard Hughes, stated the following: "We've been asked whether "Somewhere Only We Know" is about a specific place, and Tim has been saying that, for him, or us as individuals, it might be about a geographical space, or a feeling; it can mean something individual to each person, and they can interpret it to a memory of theirs... It's perhaps more of a theme rather than a specific message... Feelings that may be universal, without necessarily being totally specific to us, or a place, or a time..." With the nostalgic sentiment and the overall tone of the song, I think Keane is attempting to express a Portuguese term known as 'saudade', which does not have a direct English translation but roughly means "that which we remember because it is gone."

Zombie
Cranberries, The
"Zombie" is about the ethno-political conflict in Ireland. This is obvious if you know anything of the singer (Dolores O'Riordan)'s Irish heritage and understood the "1916" Easter Rising reference. "Another head hangs lowly Child is slowly taken And the violence caused such silence Who are we mistaken - Another mother's breaking Heart is taking over" Laments the Warrington bomb attacks in which two children were fatally injured on March 23rd, 1993. Twelve year old Tim Parry was taken off life support with permission from his mother after five days in the hospital, virtually braindead. "But you see it's not me It's not my family" References how people who are not directly involved with the violence feel about it. They are "zombies" without sympathy who refuse to take action while others suffer.
