Obscured by Clouds

Nice instrumental. I disagree about OBC's album cover being bad though... I always found it kinda comforting, strangely. It's hard to explain =P But yeah, good song.

I'm surprised that I had to post this song, but it's a very cool instrumental that opens the album by the same name (though the album sports PF's worst album cover ever).

It boggles me that people won't comment on such great songs as this. Come on guys, start commenting. I don't want to post twenty comments so people aren't afraid to post, but I'm seriously considering it.

It really will do you good, you know. It really will. And it's easy, too. You can just say something like, "great song. LOL." or something else. It's not hard.

actually, the cover isn't that... bad. If you look closely, you can see its a man in a tree. I always thought it was weird clouds or somthing. you know... cause its called "obscured by clouds"

I have to disagree. It is a horrible cover, but that is not indicative of the album as a whole. In any case, there is an excellent 13 minute combination of this and When You're In, and it's way better than either of the originals. Find it on allofmp3.com.

FIRST OFF--GREAT INSTRUMENTAL-IF I WAS A PERSON WHO WAS IN CHARGE OF WORKING SONGS INTO MOODS OF MOVIES THIS SONG WOULD DEFINTLY BE THERE. WHEN I HEAR IT I THINK OF A VILLIAN, MAYBE COMING OFF AN ELEVATOR ON HIS WAY TO DO HIS VILLIAN'ESS DEED. OR A GARAGE DOOR SLOWING RISING UNLEASHING THE VILLIAN IN A JET BLACK CAR INTO THE NIGHT. LOTS OF SLO-MO EFFECTS TO THIS SONG AND SO FORTH---MAYBE A MICHAEL MANN FILM- HIS MOVIES WOULD GO PERFECT WITH THIS SONG--HEAT, COLLATERAL, MANHUNTER, DEFINTLY A VILLIAN'ESS SONG THOUGH--SHINE ON!!!!

least favorite song from the album. I really didn't like this song. All it is, is just lots synthesizers and percussion drums with a slow guitar solo throughout the whole song.

i almost wish the guitar didnt come in, it changes the mood of the song created by that synthesizer
