I HEARD THIS SONG ON MYSPACE AND ACTUALLY REALLY LIKE IT. TO ME I THINK IT SEEMS LIKE HE'S TALKING ABOUT BEING IN LOVE WITH TWO GIRLS. HE'S WITH ONE THAT HE REALLY LOVES I GUESS, BUT AT THE SAME TIME IT SEEMS LIKE HE'S IN LOVE WITH AN EX GIRLFRIEND THAT HE WANTS BACK, BUT HE DOESN'T WANT TO LEAD HER ON OR ANYHTING AND BREAK HER HEART WHILE HE'S WITH THIS. BECAUSE SHE WANTS HIM BACK TO. I GUESS HE'S REALIZING HOW SPECIAL THE GIRL WAS AND NOW HE FEELS LIKE HE MESSED UP AND HE'S MISSING OUT ON A GOOD THING. I DON'T KNOW. it's about the confinement of being in a commited relationship, surely, and how he doesn't want to be unfaithful to his girlfriend but feels that he's missing out on the fun of being single. this is a wonderful song, it really is - he puts it so well and i guess it's something everyone wonders about. i never really paid attention to the song when i first got the album, my favourites being oh mandy and trust vs mistrust, but it really is excellent. it kind of makes me sad as i guess it is sad that people feel this way but people do feel this way and it's good that it is recognised. x
