"Writing on the Walls" as written by and Timothy/gillespie Mctague....
Maybe we, why don't we sit right here for half an hour
We'll speak of what a waste I am and how
We missed your beat again

I swear we need to find some comfort in
This run down place
To bridge the gap of this conscious state
That we live in
I'm short on time

How come you try and fit the shape of
What they tell you

But mostly what they show you
That brings us home
I pray for you to move on

At this rate we can't keep up but I sure
Can't just sit still
I'm taking back all the things I said
Keep me filled in, I swear I'll come

We walk alone back home

You're almost gone and I'm ok to give you
Time to be afraid
I still see your shadow but never your face again
I remember your presence

I hope to God you come down
I hope to God you can feel this now

I know there must be some way out of
Here and all of them will be waiting there

    General CommentI think instead of:
And how we messed up it again

And how we missed a beat again

Dunno. It makes sense both ways though, but anyways.

    General Commentwhere it says...

"And how messed up it again" it's really "And how we missed your beat again"

"Taking back all the things I've said Taking back all the things I've said" it's really "Thinking back all the things I've said Thinking back all the things I've said"

"Hear me through and I swear I'll come" it's "Keep me fueled and I swear I'll come"

General CommentThis one is done pretty good, there's a few things that might be different, but I guess we'll have to wait for the actual lyrics

General Comment\"Until we break FOR you to move on, move on\" (Spencer screams the FOR as Aaron sings FALLING DOWN)

\"When thinking back on the things I\'ve said\" (Not sure, but I think that\'s closer to what he says)

    \"BUT I SURE CAN\'T just stand still\"

    \"BUT NEVER your face again\"

General CommentThis song is actually called "Writing On The Walls". The leaked versions mixed up the titles for some of the songs, and this one was released on purevolume today.

General CommentIt's pretty straightforward, he's discussion a relationship that's ended and he's saying they need to talk it over and work things out. In the end he says "I hope to god you come down". He wants this person to realize that they were the one who made the mistakes in their relationship.

On another note, this is one of two or three decent songs on this album. What happened to the Underoath that was fun to listen to?

General Commentya this really pisses me off. those of you who got the leak couldnt wait and think your so cool and are able to post the lyrics. you couldn't wait like the rest of us. you guys are gonna have to buy the whole CD because some of the songs are missing! Its a shame that you all support a leak of a cd by a band that put hard work into this album. you guys aren't supporting Underoath any more, your just lookin out for number one. on a lighter note, this song is amazing!!!
