You can have a lot fun,
When you're home alone.
Texting your friends,
On your mobile phone.
Shorten all the words till no one understands.
You can have a lot of fun.
In your bedroom.
Singing loudly,
And way out of tune.
Telling everyone that you want to form a band.

(chorus)
Everybodys telling me to grow up.
Get a sensible haircut.
You're wearing too much make-up.
Just grow up, grow up.
Blah Blah Blah, I can't hear you!
Blah Blah Blah, I'm not listening!
Blah Blah Blah, All i hear is,
Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah!

You can have a lot of fun,
Dancing in the rain.
All your problems,
Washing down the drain.
Life's too short to take too seriously.
You can have a lot of fun,
In your favourite shop.
Trying clothes on,
I just can't stop changing fashion styles endlessly.

Grow up, get a sensible haircut....

Blah Blah Blah, I can't hear you!
Blah Blah Blah, I'm not listening!
Blah Blah Blah, All i hear is,
Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah!
Blah Blah Blah, I can't hear you!
Blah Blah Blah, I'm not listening!
Blah Blah Blah, All i hear is,
Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah!

Hey, Bratz music is better than mot of the music out there. At least it has meaning to it. Not wanting to grow up. I know I don't!

Anyway, I think that if another group was singing this song besides a bunch of dolls who are voiced by unknown people, many would listen.

The ppl who r voiced aren't "unknown." They won't give out their names. And if they did, it would've said so in the credits of whatever Bratz movie or Bratz game. I know that some chick named Alyssa was included.

    um. wow. that's really...um.

ok. it sucks. and i'm not just saying that because it's bratz. anyone could since this song, and it would still suck, because these are stupid lyrics.

I clicked on this via "latest comment". And I'm horrified. THIS is what our little girls are being taught to think like now? Oh my God.

Listen, I'm the first to shake my head at feminazis who boycott Barbie, but this is taking it too far. When my daughter [she's 18 months] is old enough to play with such dolls, she won't be getting any Bratz, thats for damn sure.

Girls, please. This is consumerism, plain and simple. "Get a cell phone. Get new clothes. Buy more makeup. Don't speak properly, because obviously thats not cool." Fight this. Seek out real music and real role models. This is not what cool is. And they thought MY generation had it bad...

But you know, why am I even bothering to say this. I'm sure all you hear is "blah blah blah"...

Wow. Why on earth were people so pressed over Bratz? Yall really got your panties in a wad over dolls. shortcake took one look at this song and decided that Bratz was bad. we all know the other two commentators were already peeved about Bratz. I don\'t see anything wrong with Bratz, yet you all talk about what bad influences they are? If anything Bratz encouraged me to make friends, be myself, and have fun. And by the way, whorez and bitchez are some majorly sick names. :) \n\nIt\'s been years though. Maybe I should just let this go. I doubt any of them will see this comment and if they do, it likely wouldn\'t change their minds. I suppose I have to agree to disagree and love what I love. Can\'t please everyone.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
